Karen Daye-Hutchinson is a printmaker from Belfast. She graduated in Fine Art from both Manchester Metropolitan and Ulster University.
Karen was a director and trustee at Belfast Print Workshop from 2005-2019 and a current member of Prism Print International. She has an extensive profile of national and international exhibitions including, Germany, Sweden, Luxembourg, France, USA, Canada and India. In 2021 she was awarded the RUA and Tyrone Guthrie Prize at the Ulster Museum and the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica scholarship. Other recent residences include Tyrone Guthrie Centre, Ireland and Empreinte Atelier de Gravure, Luxembourg.
Karen is a member of the RUA (Royal Ulster Academy) and RE (Royal Society of Painter Printmakers). Visiting Guest artist on a fellowship here at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica, Venice.

Julie Lapping Rivera
An ongoing series of woodcut portraits of women in history, many of whom have been overlooked, are accompanied by portrait poems written by an ever growing community of women poets. Collaborating with fellow artists and writers is an important part of her art practice.
Julie Lapping Rivera began her career in New York, with the Studio In a School Association, Museum of Modern Art, and Lincoln Center Institute. Julie earned her MFA in Painting from Pratt Institute and her BFA in Printmaking from the University of Massachusetts. Recipient of New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Drawing she has received grants from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Her artist residencies include Soaring Gardens in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania, La Muse, in La Bastide, France, and is currently Boston Printmakers Visiting Guest artist fellow, here at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica, Venice.
