New Hampshire Glass Flowers
16-22 September 2024
Meet the artist: Saturday 21 September 1-4PM
Event organised by Shani McLane
SG Square Space
Art can be a powerful way to share complex ideas and invoke new ones. That’s why it comes as no surprise that art is increasingly being used to communicate the impacts of human-driven climate change. Shani Mclane creates depictions and interpretations of flora/fauna in landscapes to encourage the viewer to look more deeply into the foundation for sustainable life on Earth. Featured will be a collection of panels offering a glimpse of the natural world on both microscopic levels as well as a bird’s eye view to illustrate the broad scope in which we can observe our impact on the environment.
Event Notes
Work will be on display all week during festival. Public are welcome to come by at any time during studio hours.
