The “10th International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 2024”
is unique in promoting artist bookmakers from all over the world
highlighting the diversity of ideas, structures, forms and book bindings.
The International jury, made up of Prof. Timothy Frerichs, US, Dr. Rasa Januleviciute, Lithuania, Hanne Matthiesen, Denmark, Ass. Prof. em PhD Vilborg Stubseid Hovet, Norway, Roberta Vaigeltaite-V., Lithuania and Prof. Kestutis Vasiliunas, Lithuania selected 79 artists for the 10th International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 2024.
The Main Prize was awarded to the artist Jeong-Eun Lee from Korea. Honourable Mentions to five selected artists Barbara Beisinghoff, Germany, Carmelo Cacciato, Italy, Eeva Louhio, Finland, Ema Shin, Australia, Yuko Wada, Japan.
Since the “1st International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 1997”, there have been 10 International artist’s book triennials in which 989 artists from 69 countries have participated. Triennial exhibitions have taken place in many countries: including Lithuania, Salzburg (Austria), Lille (France), Leipzig, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Rheine (Germany), Venice, Vercelli, Urbino (Italy), Seoul (South Korea), Halmstad (Sweden), Silkeborg (Denmark), Evanston and Fredonia (US).
