Maria Maggiori’s work explores the way humans connect with nature and reveals the reversal of perspective that occurs in the internalization of the outside world. This time water is the ruling element that allows her to evoke, motion, vibration, transparency and repetition, recreated by the juxtaposition of print media. The result is an atmosphere where dream and remembrance finds its own presence within the concept of memory.
Maria Maggiori studied art at the Sorbonne (Paris VIII Arts plástiques), the L’Atelier de Sévrès and L’École Superieur de Beaux arts, Montpellier, France as well as National School of Fine Arts, Argentina.
All artwork has been created during the residency at the Scuola Internationale di Grafica di Venezia and in co-operation with Artist Pension Trust>®
